This was a chimney rebuild project where we removed an old Basalt Stone chimney (see photo) and rebuilt a chimney with Ledge Stone. Because of their unique style, basalt stone chimneys can be extremely problematic in terms of waterproofing. The owner wanted to try and maintain the original architecture but ensure they would not longer have a leaking chimney. Pinnacle proposed the chimney rebuild with Ledge Stone.
